A highly skilled & certified hardwood flooring technician, Alex was personally trained by a fifth-generation Swedish hardwood floor craftsman. Prior to joining brother Joe & dad Peter at Zvara Custom Wood Floors, he worked for five years at Stromberg Flooring in Eastern Washington. He is experienced in all facets of hardwood flooring. Projects have included restoration of wood flooring at national-register historic buildings. He especially enjoys creating beautiful borders, contrasting trim, inlays, & custom designs, as well as working with exotic woods. Alex points out that hardwood flooring is a great choice for people with allergies, and says “not only is it beautiful”, but hardwood flooring can be re-finished many times, and last well over a hundred years”.
